The spice of life
The beautiful Caribbean islands of Grenada & Carriacou promise you some of the best times of your life – full of sunshine, tranquillity, freedom, delicious cuisine, pristine white beaches, and warm clear waters. Together, the islands offer something for everyone.
With the sweet scents of nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger lingering on a balmy breeze, it can only be The Spice Island of Grenada. Its capital, St. George, is said to be the most picturesque town in the Caribbean, full of classic French and British colonial architecture. Grenada is home to the Grand Etang rainforest, waterfalls, rum distilleries, inviting beaches and a perfect climate all year through.
Unspoilt Carriacou, Land of Reefs, is Grenada’s smaller sister island and truly ‘off the beaten track’, with some of the friendliest locals and most picturesque beaches. Why not combine your holiday to Grenada with a trip to Carriacou for a great twin centre holiday. Click here for more information about Carriacou.
The Underwater Experience
Grenada waters offer a wealth of coral gardens, rich marine life and many shipwrecks, including Bianca C, the largest wreck in the Caribbean. Scuba diving and snorkelling happen on the South West Caribbean coast, off Grand Anse Beach, with ideal conditions all year round. Off Carriacou, the dives involve everything from sheltered reefs to advanced wall dives, from forests of soft corals to turtles, rays and nurse sharks.
