You’ll also fly to Udaipur to explore its ancient temples and palaces, taking a stunning boat ride on serene Lake Pichola to see the panoramic beauty of the city set against the backdrop of the Aravalli Hills.
A 5-night beach holiday in sun-soaked Goa completes this luxury family holiday and ensures that at the end of your tour you get to see yet another side of India. The Tour [15 days – 14 nights]
Day 1 Departure:
Depart from London Heathrow
Day 2 Delhi:
Arrive in Delhi and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax and acclamatise. Maybe take a guided tour to see some of the city sights. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Delhi – Agra:
After breakfast, leave by train for Agra (train journey: 4h). After checking in to your hotel and time for a rest, you spend the afternoon visiting the amazing Taj Mahal. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 Agra:
Spending the day in Agra, you’ll visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites including the Ranthambore-Tiger Red Fort and Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb. Spend the afternoon relaxing and enjoying your hotel’s facilities or maybe fit in some shopping in the local markets. Overnight stay.
Day 5 Agra – Ranthambhore:
After breakfast, set off for Ranthambhore National Park (transfer time: approx 6h) with a stop en route to Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted capital city of the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. Check in to your hotel in Ranthambhore for an overnight stay.
Day 6 Ranthambhore National Park:
Best known for its tiger population, start the day with an exciting jeep safari in the National Park. Take part in tracking the tigers and in the afternoon there’s chance for further tours to spot other big cats and wildlife. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 Ranthambhore – Jaipur:
After breakfast, leave the National Park for the famous pink city, Jaipur (transfer time: approx 4h). Once checked in at your hotel, the day is yours to relax and rest or maybe take a city tour. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 Jaipur:
Sightseeing in Jaipur, which includes a visit to the stunning Amber Fort. You can arrive in style by enjoying an elephant ride right up to the entrance of the old fort! Spend the afternoon at leisure, explore your surroundings or maybe go shopping in the local markets. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9 Jaipur – Udaipur:
After a morning flight to Udaipur, check in and rest at your hotel. In the afternoon visit the City Palace, an amazing complex of palaces built in the 1500s. Overnight stay.
Day 10 Udaipur:
After breakfast, leave for nearby Eklingji with its marble complex of 108 temples and Nagda’s Jain temples. Later in the day return to Udaipur for an unforgettable boat ride on Lake Pichola. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11 Udaipur – Goa:
You’ll take a morning flight to Mumbai and a connection to Goa. Perfect for the family to relax after touring northern India, check in to your beach hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 12 – 15 Goa:
Staying on a bed and breakfast basis, the next few days are for you to have some quality family time. Enjoy the golden beaches, water sports, fantastic food, heritage and culture of family-friendly Goa.
Day 16 Departure:
After breakfast, travel to the airport for your connecting flight departure to the UK.
