Day 1
Day 2
Colombo – Pinnawela (transfer time: approx. 2hrs)
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at The Park Street Hotel before begin you journey to Sigiriya via Pinnawela where you will visit the famous Elephant Orphanage, the only one of its kind in the world. It’s a conservation project for orphaned and injured elephants and you will be able to see the little jumbos being fed and bathed in the nearby river.
Continue your journey to Sigiriya and check in to the Vil Uyana, a unique boutique hotel within a short drive away from the Sigiriya Rock Fortress where you will have the afternoon at leisure to explore this incredible property and its surroundings.

Day 3
After an early breakfast at Vil Uyana, you will be able to climb the 5th century citadel of Sigiriya which is one of the 7 UNESCO world heritage sites in Sri Lanka. Built by king Kassyapa, Sigiriya was a 70 hectare fortified city with moats ramparts and gardens. It is a must see for any visitor to Sri Lanka where it is considered the 8th wonder of the world.
In the afternoon visit Polonnaruwa, which was the 2nd capital city of Sri Lanka built in the 11th and 12th centuries AD, and which is a world heritage site. Here you can see the ruins of the Royal Palace, the Gal Viharaya where 4 splendid statues of the Buddha in 'Upright', 'Sedentary' and 'Recumbent' postures carved out of rock could be seen, the Audience Hall, the Lotus Bath, the statue of king Parakramabahu, and the Parakrama Samudraya - a lake built by King Parakramabahu the great. There are also monuments of famous places of worship such as the Shiva Temple, the Lankathilake, the Watadage, the Galpotha, the Kiri Vehera and the remains of a former Temple of the Tooth Relic. Return to the hotel Overnight stay at the Vil Uyana.
After breakfast proceed to Dambulla, yet another UNESCO world heritage site and visit the ancient rock temple adorned with hundreds of rock painting of the Buddha and many kings and deities.
Dambulla – Kandy (transfer time: approx 2½hrs)
Continue your journey to Kandy and check-in at the Kandy House, a stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Kandy. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Kandy including visits to the Kandy museum, the panoramic views of Kandy from upper lake drive and a visit to the Peradeniya campus grounds. You will also get an opportunity to walk around the bustling town streets and visit the shop.
In the evening you will visit the “Temple of the Tooth”, the holiest Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka where the tooth relic of the lord Buddha is believed to be enshrined and thereafter witness a Kandyan cultural dance performance.
Kandy is a UNESCO world heritage city and the last independent kingdom that held out against British colonial rule.
Day 5
Kandy - Hatton (transfer time: 2½ - 3 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Hatton. Take a picturesque drive on winding mountain roads through the tea plantations of the beautiful hill country. You will be taken back in time to the days of the Raj when you check-in to a Luxury room at the Ceylon Tea Trails (Castlereagh) for two nights stay on all-inclusive basis.
The Ceylon Tea Trails is a collection of Colonial bungalows converted into stylish boutique hotels and is a unique concept in Sri Lanka. Since the Tea Trails are located in the heart of the tea country, you will get an opportunity to visit a tea plantation and observe the process of tea production.

Day 6
At leisure at Ceylon Tea Trails on all-inclusive basis.

After breakfast proceed to Wadduwa. Although a fairly long drive, one enjoys the spectacular views and the constant change of terrain and climate. Check-in at Reef Wadduwa which is a fine luxury and very stylish boutique hotel located on arguably the finest beach in Sri Lanka for overnight stay.
After breakfast proceed to the airport for departure flight to Maldives.
Day 9
On Arrival at Male International Airport transfer to Taj Exotica Resort and Spa by speedboat. Spend the day at leisure in your picturesque surroundings at the beginning of your honeymoon in Maldives
Day 10
At leisure at Taj Exotica Hotel on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 11
After breakfast transfer by speed boat to the Male’ International Airport for departure flight to London.
