Sultans, Souks and Shangri-la

In contrast the south with its city of antiquity, Salalah, has an invigorating lush temperate climate, and is known as the perfume capital of Arabia.

The Underwater Experience
The nutrient rich waters around Oman attract an abundance of marine life with over 900 species living amongst spectacular corals. See rays, dolphins, clown fish, lobster, turtles, an annual whale shark migration and more. Dive down to swim-throughs, explore a wreck and many walls. The Daymaniyat Islands, an hour west, feature larger rare fish, including, leopard and nurse sharks. With only 30m depth and little current the waters suit all divers.
