Welcome to the land of smiles
Understandably popular with British tourists for many years, Thailand has so much to give: ancient culture, optimistic faces, amazing cuisine and truly exotic vistas. Its coasts and islands offer tranquillity, a lush landscape, palm fringed beaches and a welcome chance to simply unwind.
At the heart of South East Asia, The Kingdom of Thailand is a land of smiles, all the way from its impressive mountains and forests in the north, to the tropical islands and coastline of its southern peninsular.
Here is a country that has fulfilled its promise in so many ways, from its idyllic beaches to its cosmopolitan capital Bangkok; from its ancient relics to its modern comforts. Thailand makes you smile for so many good reasons - engaging people, fascinating history, natural beauty and some of the most renowned diving in the world.
The Underwater Experience
Blessed with two bountiful seas, Thailand offers world renowned sites and the chance to experience some incredible diving. The Andaman Sea to the west, calmest Nov-Apr, offers day trips to the King Cruiser wreck, Shark Point and the Phi Phi Islands, plus liveaboards to the Surin and Similan Islands. The Gulf of Thailand to the east, calmest May-Oct, offers Sail Rock and the Ang Thong Marine Park. Surrounding waters are famous for coral gardens, sharks, turtles and their profusion of fish.
