Travel to China on this enchanting tour, starting with the city sights of Beijing, Xian and Shanghai, including the Forbidden City, the Great Wall and Terracotta Warriors, followed by a captivating cruise to Guilin, taking in the limestone mountains and dramatic peaks, before arriving in stylish Hong Kong to explore it’s fascinating island history.
Visit China’s ancient and modern historical highlights on this 15-day tour, which perfectly combine the cosmopolitan and glittering cityscapes of Shanghai and Hong Kong, with time to travel Asia’s breathtakingly beautiful countryside of ancient peaks shrouded in mist.

The Tour (15 days / 14 nights)
Day 1 Beijing:
Arrive in Beijing and transfer to your hotel to relax and acclimatise.
Day 2 Beijing:
Experience one of China’s most famous sights, touring the Great Wall from Gubeikou to Jinshanling surrounded by stunning mountain landscapes.
Day 3 Beijing:
Enjoy a full day touring Beijing’s historic and cultural highlights including the Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven.
Day 4 Beijing – Xian (transfer time: approx.6h):
After a relaxing tour of the Summer Palace with its elegant gardens and landscape and chance to tour the old colonial heart of Beijing and its historic quarters, transfer to the station to catch the night train to Xian.
Day 5 Xian:
Arrive in Xian and transfer to your hotel for breakfast. Later, visit the magnificent 2,000 year-old Terracotta Warriors and take a cycling or walking tour of the Ming Dynasty City Walls.
Day 6 Xian:
Explore the city, its Museums, Great Mosque and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 7 Xian – Shanghai (flight journey: approx.2h30m):
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to fly to Shanghai and your city hotel. Later, take in some of the city culture, stroll the historic Bund district and Pudong district. In the evening, take your seats for a renowned acrobatic show.
Day 8 Shanghai:
Explore the city including the Jade Buddha Temple and elegant Yu Gardens, visit the old city centre streets and take a Harbour cruise to appreciate the remarkable Shanghai skyline.
Day 9 Shanghai – Guilin (flight journey: approx.2h45m):
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Guilin and hotel.
Day 10 Guilin – Yangshuo:
Cruise the breathtaking Li River, enjoying the stunning scenery as you drift past the region’s iconic limestone mountains and mist-shrouded shoreline. After lunch onboard, visit West Street in Yangshuo with its street stalls and market shops.
Day 11 Yangshuo:
Take a morning cycle ride to Jiuxian on the other side of the Yulong River and go off the beaten track to see a slice of authentic riverside village life.
Day 12 Yangshuo – Guangzhou (transfer time: 4h45m):
Transfer by coach to Guangzhou to visit the Chen Clan Temple and explore the famous Qing Ping Market, food stalls or just people watch.
Day 13 Guangzhou – Hong Kong:
After breakfast, take the high-speed ferry to Hong Kong. Take a walking tour of the Island visiting the Bank of China Tower, Staunton Street, Man Mo Temple, Repulse Bay and Victoria Peak.
Day 14 Hong Kong:
A day of leisure. Maybe explore the city shopping or take an optional tour to Sai Kung East Country Park with its deserted beaches and ancient villages.
Day 15 Hong Kong – Departure:
Last chance for any final excursions before your transfer to the airport and departure flight.
