The Caribbean’s best kept secret
The Turks and Caicos Islands, a British Overseas Territory at the southern tip of the Bahamas, comprises eight inhabited islands with 230 miles of pristine sandy beaches and one of the largest coral reef systems in the world – without doubt, the Caribbean’s best kept secret.
There’s a Turks and Caicos island to suit every great escape. Relax on the famous Grace Bay beach, play golf or explore the inviting waters of Providenciales (Provo). Watch the humpback whales migrate or explore Grand Turk, the capital island, with its historic architecture and rustic charm. Just a short flight away is Salt Cay, the smallest of the three islands we offer. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site - a time capsule of the island’s once thriving salt industry.
The Underwater Experience
Provo offers mainly wall diving, with abundant marine life especially in Princess Alexandra National Park. You can seen all kinds of sharks from hammerheads to Caribbean plus rays, grunts, groupers and dolphin. Grand Turk – has dramatic, healthy coral walls. Salt Cay offers pristine diving, for all levels including; walls, reefs, and caves populated by healthy, abundant coral and fish. Explore an historical shipwreck, swim with a nurse shark and listen to humpbacks in season!
