Day 01: Departure
Depart from your preferred airport from UK
Day 02 – Hanoi
You will be welcomed by our guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will spend time walking around the Old Quarter to explore the local way of life. Visit One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature with a welcome dinner at the Wild Lotus Restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 03 – Hanoi – Halong (transfer time: approx.3h)
After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to Halong Bay. Magnificent Halong Bay is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It encompasses 1,500 square kilometres dotted with over 3,000 limestone islets and grottoes of all shapes and sizes, many of which are interestingly named during you journey you will chance upon the sails of junks and sampans gliding on the blue water which will add further timeless beauty to the scenery. You will be guided through some of the limestone caves. Overnight on board.
Day 04 – Halong – Hanoi
At dawn experience a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck. Start the day enjoying some delights with a colourful buffet breakfast. Continue exploring Halong Bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights. Enjoy the world famous water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 05 – Hanoi – Hoi An (flight journey: approx.1h15m)
Late morning flight to Danang. Drop off your luggage at the hotel and afterwards spend time in Hoi An Ancient Town. You will get to see Hoi An Market, Chinese Temples and the Japanese roofed bridge. Dinner at Dao Tien River with an overnight stay in Hoi An
Day 06 – Hoi An
Wake up early in the morning and join a cooking class at Red Bridge Restaurant. You will have chance to spend your time in the central market to gather the fresh produce, and later “eat what your partner’s cook” with other special dishes. After lunch, you are free to explore Hoi An on your own. Overnight in Hoi An
Day 07 – Danang – Phu Quoc (flight journey: 3h30m)
Today you will fly to Phu Quoc with a short transit in Saigon. Overnight in Phu Quoc
Day 08 - 11 – Phu Quoc
Free at leisure with an overnight stay in Phu Quoc.
Day 12 – Phu Quoc – Saigon (flight journey: approx.1h)
Take a flight to Saigon. Visit the busy China Town and FITO Museum and overnight in Saigon
Day 13 – Saigon – Departure
After breakfast visit the HCM Agricultural Villages which includes visiting the livestock, Rice Fields; Fish, prawn, chicken, duck areas; Big Herbs, Spices, Vegetables and Mushrooms areas. You will also get a chance to experience life as a Vietnamese farmer complete with a traditional hat, during your experience pick up Herbs , spices , vegetables and Mushrooms in The Garden. Also take part in a hands on cooking class with three dishes and 1 dessert. Transfer back to Saigon before heading to the airport for your flight back to your home.
