Day 1 Departure:
Depart from London Heathrow to Colombo, Sri Lanka on an overnight flight.

Day 2 Colombo – Galle:
Upon arrival at Colombo airport you will be met by your personal chauffeur guide and driven to Galle (transfer time: approx. 2hrs). Check in at the stunning Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure with an overnight stay.

Day 3 Galle:
After breakfast spend the morning at leisure. In the afternoon you will be taken on a guided private tour of the Galle Fort, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the history of its charming streets, visit the Maritime Museum, and the Old Dutch Hospital. Evening: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant inside the fort with views of the sunset (optional).

Day 4: Galle:
Morning at leisure. In the afternoon escape the usual tourist routes on a 3-hour guided cycling tour of Galle. Enjoy an easy 7.5-mile bike ride led by a knowledgeable local guide. Pedal leisurely along primarily dirt and gravel paths, passing by serene lagoons, lush mangroves, and swaying tropical palms. Experience local culture with a village tour and visit an 18th-century Buddhist temple. Observe traditional industries such as crab catching and rope making, learn about the area's unique flora and fauna, and take a refreshing break at a coconut factory. Afterwards visit a turtle hatchery. Overnight stay in Galle.

Day 5: Galle - Yala
Morning: Check out of your hotel and drive to Yala National Park (approx. 3 hours). Afternoon: Arrive in Yala and check in at the Jetwing Yala Hotel (5*). Late afternoon visit the sacred city of Katharagama. Katharagama, is a prominent pilgrimage site revered by Buddhists, Hindus, and indigenous Vedda people. Known for its rich spiritual significance and historical heritage, Katharagama offers visitors a unique blend of religious devotion, cultural diversity, and scenic beauty. Afterwards return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Yala National Park
Early Morning: Embark on an early morning safari in Yala National Park to spot leopards, elephants, and other wildlife. After lunch experience a second safari in the afternoon. Upon completion return back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Yala - Negombo
Morning: Optional morning safari or relax at the hotel. Midday: Check out and begin your journey to Negombo (approx. 5-6 hours). Evening: Arrive in Negombo and check into the Jetwing Beach Hotel (5*). Enjoy a leisurely dinner by the beach.

Day 8: Negombo
After breakfast take a city of Colombo including a visit to the Pettah Bazaar, the bustling Fort area and the local park. Whilst in Colombo also experience a private cookery class. Return back to the beach hotel in Negombo for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Sri Lanka – Maldives
Morning: Check out of your hotel and transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your short flight to the Maldives. From Male airport a speedboat will take you to the stunning vibrant Centara Ras Fushi for a 7 night stay on bed and breakfast.

Day 10 – Day 15 Centara Ras Fushi:
Staying in a lagoon view beach villa on bed and breakfast basis. This idyllic island retreat offers an intimate private villa experience complemented by tantalising culinary delights, while immaculate white sand beaches and a sparkling lagoon teeming with magnificent marine life lay the perfect setting for resort-wide activities, beach games, snorkelling, water sports, and some of the top dive sites in the Maldives.

Day 16 Maldives - London
Depart by speedboat to board your return flights to London Heathrow.
