If you are looking for an off the beaten path tour to a far flung exotic destination, this one is for you.

Explore Sri Lanka on roads less traveled. This off the beaten path itinerary will take you across the West, the North and East Coast of Sri Lanka, culminating with a scenic plane journey back to the shores of the Capital city.

Your off the beaten path tour begins at a beach hotel in the town of Chilaw where you will simply relax after your long haul flight in anticipation of the trail ahead. Next day proceed to the wilds of Wilpattu for a stay at a tented safari camp complete with bush walks and private safaris. From here move further North to Mannar. Mannar is still a relatively untouched tourist destination but is famed for its mythical Adam’s Bridge which was said to have been an ancient bridge between India and Sri Lanka. Remnants of this trail can still be seen and is yours to discover during your stay here. Whilst in Mannar also be sure to make a visit to a local home for a meal and an afternoon well spent understanding the ways of life in this part of the island. Once your time in Mannar is complete proceed on to the Northern most past of the island – Jaffna, which has now flourised into a bustling city with a rich culture and vibrance of its own. Whilst in Jaffna be sure to try their cuisine which is unlike the rest of the island – seafood and spice are kings here.  During your time in Jaffna take a boat trip to Nagadeepa surrounded by crystal blue waters akin to the Maldives. From Jaffna head East to the endless beaches of Trincomalee where whale watching, snorkelling, historical temples await you. Spend four nights in complete leisure in this part of the island before taking a 40 minute scenic plane journey to the capital of the island.  Arrive in Colombo and explore the beating heart of this gorgeous island complete with a sunset dinner by shore before flying back home the next day.

Day 1: London - Colombo
Depart on your overnight flight to Sri Lanka.

Day 2: Airport - Chilaw
Arrive at BIA airport and be met by your dedicated chauffeur guide who will be with you throughout your time in Sri Lanka. Transfer to Chilaw for your first night in Sri Lanka by the beach.

Day 3: Chilaw - Wilpattu
After breakfast check out and proceed to the luxury tented campsite. Arrive at the campsite and after lunch go on your first safari. Return for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Wilpattu
Wake up before dawn for your second safari afterwards return to the campsite for breakfast and a bush walk. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure. Late afternoon proceed on another safari. Return for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Wilpattu - Mannar
After breakfast check out and proceed to Mannar. Arrive at the hotel in Mannar, check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Mannar.

Day 6: Mannar
After breakfast explore the Mannar area complete with walks along the coast to view the remnants of Adam's Bridge and also visit a local village to understand the intricacies of village life in these parts. Dinner and overnight stay in Mannar.

Full day at leisure in Mannar.

Day 8: Mannar - Jaffna
After breakfast check out and proceed to Jaffna. Arrive in Jaffna and check in at the hotel. Late afternoon go on a city tour of Jaffna. Overnight stay in Jaffna.

Day 9: Jaffna
After breakfast visit the island of Nagadeepa by boat. Afterwards return back to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10: Jaffna - Trincomalee
After breakfast take a leisurely drive to Trincomalee. Arrive at this beach town and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 11: Trincomalee
Wake up early for a boat excursion in the hopes of seeing whales and dolphins. Afterwards explore pigeon island for a spot of snorkeling. Return back to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12: Trincomalee
Morning and afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon make a visit to Koneswaram Temple through Fort Fredrick. Return back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 13:
Full day at leisure in Trincomalee.

Day 14: Trincomalee - Mount Lavinia
After breakfast board a domestic aircraft for a scenic plane journey that will bring you back to the Capital of Colombo. Arrive at Colombo airport and proceed to Mount Lavinia Hotel for your last night in Sri Lanka as part of this tour. Late afternoon go on a city tour of Colombo. Dinner and overnight stay in Mount Lavinia Hotel.

Day 15: Sri Lanka - UK
After breakfast check out and proceed to BIA airport for your flight home.
